Things have been on hold for a while now, but today I decided to do something. I have two sets of hammered aluminium fenders by Lefol to choose from. One newer and one older. I decided to go with the older and dirtier one for this bike, mostly because of its cute hammered rear light. The other one has a nicer headlamp though, both hammered and fluted. The flutes can be painted to match the rest of the bike.
Since I like the lamps, I started by polishing one using a drill mounted polishing pad (wool) and polishing substance. I'm still unsure wheter I'll be building led systems into it or just have it as it is. At least theres idle space for some circuitry and a huge ass capacitor.
One thing worries me. It seems, I can't have both a porteurish huge ass front rack and a fender mounted headlamp, for obvious reasons.

| The front rim was quite dented. Here I have already hammered out the dents and sanded the rim down with 800 sandpaper and oil. Side is only wiped "clean". |
